The MC630HD speakers feature boundary compensation EQ circuitry, which adjusts the speaker's mid-to low-frequency output to avoid interference from sounds, which can be strongly reflected from the wall on which the speaker is mounted. The MC630HD speaker is encased in a pressure-cast aluminum enclosure and is designed to be acoustically inert so spurious cabinet vibrations will not degrade the HD audio experience. These speakers are specifically engineered to be used in all front, rear, center and surround applications. Our engineers developed the Newton Series P300HD Powered Subwoofer with a unique design to virtually eliminate all vibrations, which are the primary cause of distortion in a subwoofer. The P300HD features six high-excursion 6 1/2-inch transducers mounted on opposite faces of the enclosure. Deploying three speakers opposed by another set of speakers on the opposite side of the cabinet ensures that movements of the speaker cones are balanced, thus preventing the enclosure from vibrating. This is noticed by the fact that the subwoofer does not transmit any vibration into the floor on which it is placed. Instead of rattling everything in the room it excites the air, delivering a pure-bass experience without the distortion of hearing all the other things in the room rattled. The P300HD features a cool running, energy efficient 300-watt class-D amplifier making it the ultimate subwoofer to deliver heart-pounding bass and complement your home theater system.
