This incredible satellite starts with our Newton Series matte-finished ABS cabinet in a Midnight Black satin paint finish enclosed in a heavily-braced composite enclosure with sensuous curves. Our engineers didn't only design the "curves" on our MC55 speakers to make them look good, but also sound better. Asymmetrically curved satellite cabinets all but eliminate distortion-causing reflections known as "standing waves." As a result, our Newton Series MC55 offers a beautiful design that will be music to your ears. Thanks to a 3 1/2-inch driver and a four-element EQ network built into each satellite, MC55 speakers range from as high as 16kHz and down below 150Hz, covering the mid-bass through high-end of the frequency range beautifully and evenly right down to where any one of our subwoofers can take over.
